The Unseen Potential

Imagine a world where every woman is empowered to reach her full potential. A world where The Economist's glass-ceiling index doesn’t rank Switzerland near the bottom. This isn’t just a dream; it’s a possibility.

But first, let’s look at the world as it is. Switzerland, a country known for its precision, somehow underestimates and underutilises the skills and drive of its women. It’s a paradox that affects not just women, but the entire economy and society.

I know this world firsthand. I’ve spent years navigating it, learning to trust myself, and finding my voice. It’s a journey that requires resilience and the courage to challenge the status quo.

For many of us, life gets complicated. It’s easy to get lost in being a mother and neglect all the other aspects of yourself. But in doing so, we risk losing sight of our dreams and aspirations. We must remember that our identities are multifaceted—mother, partner, leader, innovator—and nurturing each aspect is crucial for our growth.

A New Paradigm

We need a shift in perspective. We need to see ourselves as the leaders we are meant to be. I’m halfway through the pilot of ‘Running Point’ - like Isla Gordon, we must find our inner strength and drive. We must surround ourselves with people who believe in us and help us grow.

As a leadership coach, I’ve seen the transformative power of self-investment. It starts with recognising our worth and building our skills. It means persevering through challenges and finding allies who amplify our voices.

Your Team, Your Future

So, who is on your team? Who inspires you to push beyond the boundaries set by others? It’s time to redefine what’s possible for women in the workforce, particularly in Switzerland. We owe it to ourselves to be more than just statistics in an index. We owe it to ourselves to be the change we seek.
